Subform disappearing act

I'm opening a form with the acFormAdd and acDialog properties from a switchboard. My mainform has a subform on it, or it used to at least. Now it just won't show up. There aren't any loading or opening or on current events happening, so I don't know why this subform won't open.

Any known or suspected issues?

In design view does the subform show up?
If it does is the record source set?

Do a search for <yourSubFormName>.visible and make sure nothing is causing it to hide.

Got it. This happened to me once before - the allow edits,deletions, and additions properties got set to No somehow. Don't know why this happens - second time, and I didn't change those properties!
