I have a form (Form1) with a date field . I have a pop-up calendar that puts the date in that field. It works perfect!!! However, I really need (Form1) to be a Subform.
My problem is this: If I open (form1) from the forms section the pop-up calendar works great, but when I open the (MainForm)in which (Form1) is a Subform the pop-up calendar will not work, I get "Run-Time error 2450" "Access can't find the form (Form1) refered to in your expression.
What is it that just by using the form as a subform i seem to loose communication with it. how do I make a reference to it now?
Thanks,
Whill1

Once you open the main form, Form 1 is no longer a form, but an object contained in a subform control.
To reference controls on the subform the syntax is :
FORMS!mainformname!subformcontrolname.FORM!subformcontrolname

where the uppercase words are fixed and you use the your own names for the lowercase values

Thanks Lupins46,
This is exctly what i needed to do
