Subdatasheets in Query

I am misunderstanding the Access Help file, maybe. It says that I may add a subdatasheet into a query. It gives specific directions on how to do this. Open Query in Design View, Select Subdatasheet from the Insert Menu....whoa, there is not "Subdatasheet" on the Insert menu. I only see Rows and Columns. What am I doing wrong? Am I mistaken about the ability to do this?

Open the query in datasheet view, not design view.
