Is it possible to insert a report(as a sub-report) if it contains sub-reports?

I currently have a profile page that has data displayed in a group header section and it also has 4 sub-reports.

I have tried inserting the 4 sub-reports in various sections and everything I have tried works when I view the profile page as a standalone report.

My problem begins when I insert the profile page as a sub-report within a different report (Roster Report).

My goal is to be able to generate a roster page and then drill-down to the profile page.

When I insert the profile page into the roster report the drill-down works fine except I can't see any of the 4 sub-reports of the profile.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you

You can have multiple subreports, but not subreports within subreports. No version of crystal supports this (note that you did not provide your crystal version).

A work-round is to use Shared Variables to get a subreport value to the main report, and then Edit > Subreport Links to get it to another subreport. Note that a Shared Variable will only contain the correct value in the section below the section which calls the subreport.
