Sub Report Not spanning pages

I'm certain I have done this before but today its not working my sub report cuts off after 1 page. I've checked for "keep together" in parent and sub, "can grow" is set.

I'm using CR XI? Has something changed or am I missing some setting?

Detail Section.

I just built a quickie report and spanned 10 pages with the supreport no problem. The detail section and sub report properties are the same in both reports

Ok I have no idea why, but the real report, I created an arbitrary grouping and now the subreport in detail spans. I supressed the group header/footer

Not sure what's going on. Are you sure you don't have some sort of selection or suppression in the sub that is limiting the display? Have you checked the subreport links to the main report?

Good points. I have checked the links and suppression formula in sub. I can't find anything amiss, not to say there is not an issue there, but its working now and I have COB today deadline. Thanks for the tip!
