Hi there,

I have a template with everything I need already inputted.
All the text is in the booklet etc. I just need to change the style and look. However it was originally created on a MAC saved in PC format therefore I am attempting to change the font in all the style sheets to convert it completely to PC format as that is the platform I work on. My question is, it looks like all the text has local formatting as it has the plus sign in the style sheet. When I apply No style and then Apply the already created style sheet with my new font, the text spaces out too much for example it looks like this:

Blah B L A H blah Blah
B L A H
Blah Blah blah B L A H

I think you get the idea. What is the best way to fix this problem. Would you suggest to re import all the text or copy and paste it in the correct font? Or is there a way to correct it in the style sheets that I cannot see. Is it a problem that it was originally created on a MAC?

Thanks so much in advance for help, I need this solved as soon as possible.

Steph

We recently took a file created on the mac & moved it onto the pc. But instead of applying No Style & then applying a style, we used this method - Edit/Style Sheet, selected an existing style, changed the font to a pc font, modified the rest of the style attributes as required and saved the style. It's a bit of a pain especially if you have to write everything down to make sure you change everything correctly. But the file automatically updated itself and the tracking was fine.
