Hi,
For some reason (stupidity I guess) I have upgraded my PC to Vista Ultimate 64bit, and I am having problems streaming music from a server. It will work for exactly 12 minutes then disconnect (in XP it works fine, so its not the server)
The stream is for realplayer but I have tried it with mplayer, which plays for 12 minutes and freezes (I have to end the process to exit the app.
I have searched the web, found that every one is complaining about realplayer but I have the same problem in mplayer. I have changed some power settings to see if Vista is just putting drivers to sleep... Also changed the network card settings, unticking "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"...
For reference my network card is an inbuilt one on a BFG 680i SLI mobo, and all drivers are up to date (64bit drivers for mobo and graphics devices)...
Does anyone have suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
