strange time issue

Hey all,

This morning when I got here, I noticed that the time is all screwy. The time zone I'm in is cst6cdt, which is 6 hours off UTC. All of my workstation times are correct (8:20 am) but when I save a file to the server, the time stamp it is given is 6 hours later (2:20 pm). When I run the Time command on the server, I find that everything is set correctly except that the "DST STATUS = off". Any one have any ideas as to how to fix this problem?

Just a thought, but is it possible that your workstations are set for the wrong timezone?

Also, the time on your server. should show UTC time on one line, and the next line shows Local time with your time zone setting. can you check that and make sure they are correct?.
