All,
Please can someone tell me what’s going on with my queries. On some occasions I have to input the filter criteria twice on other occasions I don't. I initially thought this was because of the complexly of the query structure but now even in a simple query with one table a one search criteria it's still asking me for the input twice.
This is driving me Mad
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Simon

I had this happen to me but it was because I had two sub-reports on one report

Same experience here at times. Mostly with nested queries, but sometimes with a single query as well. So far have been able to solve the problem by copying the SQL statement from the SQL view window and pasting it into a new query. Have no idea what causes it or why, just stumbled into this solution.

WinN.

This seems to be a intermittent problem. I seem to have it where this is nested queries and have criteria that is entered by the user. if anyone has come across this before and has a solution for the problem it would solve a real headache

Have you tried building your own form to collect the user input rather than using parameterized queries?

can you give me an simple example of how the query would be structured.
