Strange problem Notes replicating mail database one way

When I am going over the internet and connect over the Firewall via VPN, I have a strange problem when replicating the mail database.

The receiving of data works fine, but the sending does not go through.

I'm using W2KPro SP2 with LN R5.07a.

Anyone with a solution.

We had a problem like this but with an earlier version. What is the connection like, i know that we could not get replication going due to a timeout, do a tracert to the server once you have the vpn up and see if you get any timeouts. I will try and remember the solution we used and get back to you.
