Hi there,
Network info as follows:
NW6 server SP3 running both IPX & IP
NWClient 4.9SP1a running on WXP SP1 workstation, with IP only
After successfully login to server & mapped drive via login script, after a while (say 20-40 mins), volumes (other than SYS) got connection problem. At dos prompt, I can goto z:\public & run "map" command, it shown correct result as follows:
Z:\PUBLIC>map
Drives A,B,C,D,E map to a local disk.
Drive F: = SRV2_APP.: Drive Z: = SRV2_SYS.: \PUBLIC
----- Search Drives -----
S1: = C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32
S2: = C:\WINDOWS
S3: = C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\WBEM
S4: = C:\DMI\WIN32\BIN
S5: = C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\NLS
S6: = C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\NLS\ENGLISH
Then I goto F: & do a dir there, it shown
K:\>dir
Volume in drive F is APP
Volume Serial Number is G4W2-LM96
Directory of F:
11/11/2003 19:00 <DIR> LOGIN
11/11/2003 19:00 <DIR> MAIL
11/11/2003 11:38 <DIR> ndps
11/11/2003 19:00 <DIR> PUBLIC
0 File(s) 0 bytes
4 Dir(s) 3,833,823,232 bytes free
Obviously those info belongs to SYS, not APP.
Also only a few XP machines got such problem, & the rest of the 98 machines don't have such problem.
I tried to reinstall NWClient with lower version, but it's still the same.
Wondering if anyone see this before? Any recommendation?
Thanks in advance for your help!
