A user came to me today complaining that her documents were being modified after they were saved, and she showed me one of them.

There is a header on every doc that reads as follows:

bjbjt+t+

There is a footer on the docs that spit out oodles of lines that look like this:

Normal
Normal
Default Paragraph Font
Default Paragraph Font
Envelope Address
Envelope Address
Envelope Return
Envelope Return
Linda OllisJC:\DOCUME~1\LINDAO~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\AutoRecovery save of Address labels.asd
Linda OllisJC:\DOCUME~1\LINDAO~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\AutoRecovery save of Address labels.asd

...and so on and so forth.

I did a quick google search for "bjbjt+t+" and I pulled up a few hundred documents that seem to be 'tainted' with the same lines. See for yourself... Though I was able to find a whole bunch of other documents with the same problem, I was unable to find any link that explained why this is happening and how to stop it from happening.

I also did a search on Microsoft's knowledge base for "bjbjt" and was returned zero results.

Has anyone here seen this before?

Thanks for the help!
Ian

Heh.. yeah I noticed that like 4 seconds after I posted mine. Oh well, at least now there's something in the tek-tips databsae with that f'ing bjbjt+t+ nonsense.
