Strange error message

One of my E450's is getting the following error message appearing in /var/adm/messages:-

WARNING: Device sd36 failed to power up.

how can I find out what sd36 is?

Please try:
iostat -E and iostat -En

I hope that helps.

hello,

yup that did the job, I totally forgot about iostat!

the issue is as i thought the cd drive
