Storing word document using jsp

Hi,

I want to store a word document which I have to attach from the local system to the remote database.

I doesn't know how to attach a word document from the local system to the jsp page. Then I also don't know whether I can store the word document directly to the database or not. I am using SQL Server as my database. can anyone help me to getout of this problem?

Pls help its very urgent...
