Stored Procedure causing slow response

I am using Crystal 10 Developer. I have a report that has 3 subreports. The subreports are being used because they have unrelated data. Two of the subreports are just regular reports placed in the same report. The third subreport is a stored procedure. The stored procedure runs fast on its on, but once I place it in the report with the other subs it slows down a great deal. I tried to change it to a command, but there was no difference. I have linked more that one field to the main report and it is still very slow. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I suggest that you supply technical information rather than generic descriptions:

Database/connectivity used?
What section is the subreport in?
If the subreports are unrelated, why are you linking them?

Try placing the SP subreport in the report footer, it's execution time should be about the same as stand alone, with the exception of how long the main report takes to run.

Sorry. In trying not to be confusing, I ended up leaving out information. Right now I am running the report in Crystal Reports. I am connecting to the database with ADO. The subreports together are not related, but they each link to the main report by a ticketId. The subreports data will only show up in the group footer I guess because I am doing some calculations in the group footer of the subreports.
