Our BDC is rapidly running out of memory, due to the process STORE.EXE (Exchange info store?). Currently using >800Mb RAM.

Re-stating resolves problem temporarily, however, memory useage of this process increases by the second, so that within 36 hours we are at >900Mb and server gets wobbly.. It's a server running NT4 sp6 and Exchange 5.5 sp4.

Any advice would be very much apreciated.

Store.exe will take all the memory that is available on the server, this is how Exchange is built. If it's causing you problems you could schedule a job to stop and restart the services.

If it doesn't leak oil it must be empty!!

Aye, as NortonES2 states STORE.EXE is designed to take all the memory it can.

It then releases it to other processes as it is required.

If you know for a fact that exchange does not need this much memory you can run Performance Optimizer for Exchange and hard set how much memory you are going to allow Exchange to use. We have 4gb in our server and a hard set it to 1.2gb.
