Hi!

There is a big problem with the memory use in exchange 5.5.
We have a 15 users and the STORE.EXE process eats 500MB of memory. After the 3-7 days the total amount of memory that will be allocated under the STORE.EXE will be aproximately 900mb. Then an Exchange stops working correctly, all connectors become unworkable. I don't understand what is the problem. I'm use WNT4.0Server+SP6 + SP4 for exch. Do you have some advices?

I've had the same problem, but not quite as bad as you describe. Try running the perfwiz.exe found in the Exchsrvr\bin, limit your memeory to a max of 75%

I ran the perfwiz.exe and this has resolved the problem to some extent although the memory is slowly rising above the max of 750mb. Try searching on this site for store.exe I found some useful stuff. Also see the following URL

hope this helps

Don't limit your memory!

This sounds like something you should open a support case for. If it is found to be a bug then you won't be charged. Basically if it is a memory leak the desktop on the server will also become very slow.
