Hi all,

We are having a problem with a machine and we can't figure out the cause, so I'm hoping that someone here can possibly shed some light on it.

We are getting the following stop error randomly:

0x000000c2 (0x00000007, 0x00001153, 0x02060002, 0x86c76408)

There is no obvious pattern for when this happens. The machine could be online for 10 days before the error or it could happen a few times in a single day.

The machine is a Dual Xeon 2.8. The RAM has been swapped out the AV has been uninstalled but the problem still exists.

I have the output of a dumpchk but because of the length of it I will just link to it here

Thanks in advance,

Wullie

Right, according to that article and your stop code it seems it is most likely a driver on your system.

How long has this been happening? Have you installed anything and then this issue has started?

If you follow the steps within the article, you should be able to find (or at least have a possible cause) of the problem.

Unfortunately, there is not much more that can be done without the memory.dmp.

*** I would be careful though, the article says it is for Windows 2000, but they could amount to the same.

So far it's been happening for over a month. There wasn't any change to the system at the exact time it started but the machine hasn't been online that long so it could really be anything.

I'll check out that page and see if I can pinpoint the error. If I do I will be sure to come back and update this thread.

Many thanks for your help.
