Got a computer that started freezing up a week ago. Swapped parts out, til the only thing left were the board, CPU, and harddrive. Finally replaced the Board and CPU, and got a Page_Fault_In_Nonpaged_Area 00000050(0x9019c687,0x00000000,0x80192694,0x00000000) while doing a clean install of XP Pro.
Going to swap the harddrive now. Any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Try these for any useful information.

"This Stop message usually occurs after the installation of faulty hardware or in the event of failure of installed hardware (usually related to defective RAM, either main memory, L2 RAM cache, or video RAM)."

I'm swapping out the RAM again now. I tried that a while back and the result was the same, but I'll keep you posted.
By the way, harddrive has been eliminated as a possible cause.

Thanks.

It's not the RAM, tried three seperate sticks of DDR.
Guess I'll try swapping the video card again.

I had a similar problem when isntalling XP on a new computer.. I too thought it was the memory. Turns out that an upgrade to the bios fixed everything.. hope that helps.

Ok, it's a brand new MSI KT6 Delta-LSR board, but I'll check for a new version. Thanks.

From the looks of it, the AGP memory size in BIOS was set to 128, and is now working at 64. Setup is running now, but I not totally sold that this was the cause, as it was set properly at 64 (which was the max setting, and matched the Geforce 3 Ti500 video card) on the old motherboard.
Thanks for all the suggestions, I think I'm still going to flash the BIOS when I get Windows installed. I'll keep you posted.

Turns out from further inspection that the BIOS AGP settings were set higher than the card could support. If anyone else runs into this, just be sure to set your settings lower until it works.
