Stoagetek L20 Unknown drive

I have a storagetek L20 with two DLT drives. Now when I start I get the message "unknown drive" for both drives.
I know that it worked a few months ago and now when I want to start it again i get errors, why?

Have you put different drives in the library? The firmware in the library may not support the drives installed.
