I took over somebody elses network, which includes a Citrix server. The Citrix server WAS working so I've been ignoring it, and working on all the other stuff on the network that was broken. Now the Citrix server has a problem and I am not sure how to proceed since I don't know Citrix. The Citrix Management Console no longer starts - it gives me an error 'The Citrix Management Console could be started because the executable for the Java Virtual Machine could not be found'. Looks like some other program tried to install a new version of Java. I looked up the error at Citrix, the knowledgebase tells me to use 'nscpfix.exe'. Okay - except I can't find it. My best guess is that it is in a service pack that was never applied.
The Citrix appears to be Metraframe XP version 1.0, it is running on a Windows 2000 server with Win2k SP2 installed.
Real questions:
1. How do I tell what Citrix Service pack has been installed?
2. What service pack do I need to apply to get 'nscpfix.exe and where do I get it?
