Aug 13, 2003 #2 stanhubble MIS Joined Apr 6, 2001 Messages 1,052 Location CA It is pretty straight forward...if you know: -how the printer is connected to the network -what protocols it is listening to The simplest is a printer listening to LPD. - enable remote printing - scoadmin printer -> add -> remote ...enter specifics If it is using HP protocols (not emulations) then see: pcunix's faq on printing to HP's http://aplawrence.com/SCOFAQ/scotec7.html If it is a windows shared printer then use samba's smbclient or the smbprint scripts.
