status code 302 question

Is anyone familiar with this status code 302 in relation to a catalog backup? The short Veritas blip on this error reads 'error encountered attempting backup of catalog (multiple tape catalog backup)(302)'. And also Veritas states 'This error occurs when the NetBackup command used for stage one of the two-stage catalog backup fails.'

I am getting this error every other day. Any ideas? Thanks!

The fact that this happens every other day kinda points to the storage medium you are writing your catalogs to. I'd check your catalog backup settings and try replacing one of your tapes used for the catalog backup. Could be that it is now spanning tapes and you don't have enough specified.

Did you mean to specify the two stage process? How big is the catalog?
