Status Bar Backcolor?

Hi,
I am using VB for my app. Is it possible to change the backcolor of status bar to white???

Pls let me know whethe it Is possible?

Actually the purpose of using the staus bar in mY app is, I want to display local Pc 's date and time.
I don't want to use timer to referesh the date. SO I am using status bar. Ac the screen color is white. I want to make the status bar color also to white...

Do U have any other idea to do this..???
