Secure in what way? No outbound calls, no inbound calls, internal only. If the user leaves the desk they can use PSA to disable it. The securtity is setup for every user in their station form page 1. PSA is a for fee package. If you do not want to buy PSA you can use TTI. TTI uses the SAME security code for all users, this is obviously not an ideal situation, but it is free. In the system paramters TTI has a setting to set a default COR for a disassociated set. Create a COR that has the appropraite permissions for sets you have disabled and you should be OK. Depending on your switch version, there is a new station lock is V10 software, you may want to look at this also. Hope this helps
Thanks for the suggestion. I basically have 2 users that need to dial 900 numbers. Obviously, I have 900 numbers blocked, but I do have the few numbers that they need to dial built in the ARS table. The only security issue that I really have is if someone else knew those numbers. Could I build access code into the dial string in front of the 900 numbers in ARS? Is there a way to use access codes before dialing a 900 number?
