Hi all,

I am trying to statically assign the call server ONLY on my 9620L set with FW 3_11. I want DHCP to assign everything else, I just want to controll which call server it registers to on a one off basis. I have configured both my DHCP option 242 and my 46xxsettings.txt file with the static 3 option and I am statically programming the call server address but it always somes up with the call server that is assigned via DHCP. I don't want to have to statically assign the IP address on the phones. Is there a way to do what I want? The CM version is 5.2.1.

when the phone comes up it should prompt you to hit * to program, do you get this

acss sme acis sme acss cm 5.2.1 acss cm and cmm acss aura messaging.

3.1.1 is about 8 versions out-of-date. FWIW, try the latest 3.2.1.

smokinjoe, I am programming the phone but it is still using what it gets from DHCP, not what I manually programmed.

after you put in the call server address what did you hit next

acss sme acis sme acss cm 5.2.1 acss cm and cmm acss aura messaging.
