Static text search 1

I know how to program a text search feature in a dynamic site by querying the db. However I have to do this for a static site and have no idea how to go about it. Is it possible w/out installing an application on the hosting server. If it is, i would appreciate any information on the easiest way to implement this.

I have used this in the past. Very easy. You just copy & paste the code.
