Does anyone have a sample startup script for running a program as administrator that we could learn from?
Any good places/links to get one aquainted with scripting.
Whould like a step by step how to if there is one available some where out there.
Scripting isn't so much the issue, although sample code with explanations of why whould be useful, as how one "sets up" a script to execute a program that runs even before any user logs on and continues to run (like a service).
I have found Group Policies (gpedit.msc) where one sets up startup scripts and I have looked at "runas" to have a program run as an administrator but I am puzzled as to how to combine the two ideas.
For example: Would like to run a Webcam all the time even if no one is loged in. See post in this forum - How to run a program without logging in? The two rules for success are:
1. Never tell them everything you know.
