my first aspx page gives me an error that the compiler can't write a file in c:\temp
where do i let it do that?

NTFS permissions on the directory in question... ASPNET is the user that needs 'Modify' permission on the directory

We tried setting the ASPNET account as an Administrator which has modify privileges but I still get the error. I don't have to have them reboot the server do I?

sorry -- i got it to work by restarting IIS
