Hi All,
I am just starting to use InDesign and was wondering which program is better to use out of Pagemaker and Indesign. I am mainly design catalouges/posters/business cards and stationery. Just wanted to know which one was easier to use and which is more compatible with everything (other programs and printers/etc)Cause when I visit the Adobe site they are pushing Indesign. Thanks

PageMaker has a larger user base and therefore more support/compatibility among printers.

How do you define 'easier to use'?

If 'easier to use' means a small feature set that does not require much training, use PageMaker.

If 'easier to use' means being able to use a specific feature without having to invent a bizarre workaround in a lesser program like PM (and do it more quickly), use InDesign.
