When i pout my comp on it asking if i want to strat winxp or win98 thet is not the problem

If i do nothing it wil thake winxp after 30sec
but i don't want to wait that long can i set it on 10 seconds ore less and where must i do that

Standard setting I'm afraid. You could probably do a reg hack to change the time, but that's messy, and could cause other probs.

To be honest, 30 seconds is fine. If you want it to speed up, just hit enter and it will take the currently selected option, which is XP.

Right click "My Computer", go to the "Advanced" tab and click on the "Startup and Recovery button". You can change the "Time to display list of operating systems" from there.
