We use Exchange 2000 with Outlook 2000/XP clients. The clients that are portable (laptop) utilize .pst files. My issue is when my laptop users are offline and attempt to start Outlook from the 'quick launch' toolbar they receive a 'information store could not be opened' error message and Outlook simply doesn't open, however if you just open Outlook via the system icon is opens fine and the .pst file is available (of course the mailbox is not).
