In my report I have the "New Page After" box checked in GF1 to get each group to start on a new page. This works fine until I come to the end of the report. Then the Totals (in RF) print on a blank page by themsleves.

I think I need to put a formula in the "New Page After" but I'm not sure what the formula should be.

Or maybe there's a much easier way to do this that I'm not thinking of?

Any assistance would be greatly appreaciated.

instead of using GF and set "new page after", try to use GH and set "new page before

The more usual approach is to use a conditional formula in the new page after formula area:

not onlastrecord

If you use new page before on the group header, you would probably want to use a formula for that also:

not onfirstrecord

Please pardon a dumb question, but...

Why is the conditional formula needed? The solution suggested by Buck149 seems to work just fine without it. Is there a scenerio in which his solution would not work and in those cases you would need the formula?

Thanks,
Mark

If you use new page before on the group header, you will have an initial blank page if you are not using the report header. If you are, and you want a new page before the first group, then you're fine.
