Starting a new project

Hi,

I am about to begin work on a new project and wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions of good practice (the project I currently work on was begun by someone else).

What exactly you need? Project management, organization of files etc.? I would suggest to read some articles at the fox.wikis.com, there are a lot of the articles related to project management, projects and troubles with them.
