Startalk Not Responding

I have a Startalk (NT8B73AJ) 2 port unit connected to a Norstar 824.

It was taken out of service for a year or so (the whole system) and was working fine when taken out.

Now, when I set up the system, the Startalk works for 30-45 minutes porpoerly, and then just stops responding until rebooted.

When I dial the Startalk DN or use F983 (or any Startalk feature codes) it answers but the set display is blank, and there are no prompts. When a call gets forwarded to the Startalk DN, it answers, but nothing, no display, no greeting, nothing.

Once it reboots, it's fine for 30-45 minutes.

I reset the entire system earlier today, deleted everything, and re-initialized the unit. It worked fine for about 30 mins and then went back to doing the same thing again.

Anybody every come across this issue? Any quick fix that you can suggest?

Sounds like the hard drive is dying. I'd suggest you get a replacement drive.

Thanks. I figured as much.

Can I just copy the drive image to a new drive and replace it? Could it be that easy?

I use this in my home and don't want to spend a lot of money to do it.

Suggestions?

The Startalks use small SCSI drives. I've never gotten one to work bigger than about 540MB. If you can do a bit for bit copy then it should work.
