have a Startalk 1.36 and an MICS 1.0, I have a couple problems that I can not solve, would greatly appreciate any help.

1) AA is set up to answer inc calls on 1st ring; when calls come in the Operator phone does a very short half ring. The calls still go to the AA.

2) One phoneset shows "Msg for you" all the time. I have removed her voicemail box entirely and reset it up, I can not get that display to clear. (M7208 phone)

3) A coupel times a week the operator phone will ring a continuous ring for 8-10 seconds, you can not stop it unless you unplug phone or wait for it to stop.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

You should upgrade the Startalk to 2.04L to comply with MICS software.
To clear the MWI light press feature#65.
To remove the half ring from reception remove the ringing line assignment from the set in line access.
The ringing set is likely caused by the old Startalk version upgrade to 2.04L.
2.04L upgrades are difficult and time consuming and possibly expensive you will need to find a competent technician to do this.
You could replace the Startalk with a Norstar Voice Mail.
Installing a CallPilot would require a software upgrade on your MICS.

aragon....was 1.36 an old StarTalk? I was thinking it was a Flash no?

I cant find my old matrix sheets which includes Flash 1.44 and under, if I cant find soon I'm goona have to see if somebody can email me one.

Thanks
CC

The voicemail is a startalk flash 1.44 not 1.36, my mistake.
the 1.44 is compatable w/ MICS 1.0, 1.36 is not. When I had the 1.36 in the Startalk I had no VM at all. Now I have the problems listed above. Thanks.

Flashtalk eh!
OK
The following still applies.
To clear the MWI light press feature#65.
To remove the half ring from reception remove the ringing line assignment from the set in line access.
The ringing set is likely caused by the old Flashtalk version upgrade to 1.9 or 2.0.
It may also simply be a reboot requirement.
Many buggy issues are resolved by rebooting the entire system.
Power down the Flashtalk then the KSU.
Power up the KSU and wait for the full reboot.
Power up the Flashtalk.

There are three reasons Nortel writes new software versions.
1 BUG FIXES
2 Feature enhancements
3 Compatibility

1.44 is a very early release and the earliest supported release on MICS 1.0 it is buggy.
