Startalk Flash

I have a Startalk Flash version 2.0. When an incoming call is answered by voice mail, all you get is a loud buzz. I have reset the voice mail, but it is still happening. Any ideas?

Try calling on other lines
Try to narrow down if just one channel.

I have reset the voice mail. Still get buzz. I did put it in night mode and I don't get the buzz on any calls. So I only get the buzz in day mode on all 4 lines.

Check your day greeting message it sounds like it has been corrupted.

If the day greeting seems ok, re-record it anyway.
If same issue then use another greeting # for daytime and test.

Also how long is the buzz? same lenght as greeting? do you use CCR?

Might need to do a re-install if nothing else works.

The day greeting and the night greeting are the same. The only difference is during the day, the lines ring on the reception phone and in the night mode they are answered by AA.

How do they ring at night?
Service Mode or F982?

They use serice mode. The receptionist has a night button.

Found the problem. It was the name recorded in the general delivery mb. Problem solved.

Sounds like 221 is in the service mode instead of vmails DN.
FYI
If you put vmails DN you will get the main greeting instead of 221 G.D.
