startalk flash f9 codes invalid

i have an old startalk flash w/ 2.1 software. i inputed f983/ pressed 1 and performed a reinstall and now i cannot access the flash. none of the f9xx codes work. i can see the stk in maintenance and dial the dn direct and log screen appears/prompt requests mbox and pswd. however, when i input default pswd the screen reads invalid.

i've tried f**xftest/f9*3/f903 and swap software to no avail. any clues?????

I think in fxtest you can delete all of the 98X codes and then reconnect the flash.
all the codes should reappear and be active.

Since you did the REINSTALL you need to activate the F980-989 codes by dialing F903. If that doesn't work dial F**XFTEST, use the config password, and scroll through the active feature codes. Sometimes F903 will change to something else, or the active feature code range could have changed to something like F960-969. If all else fails, open up the Flash and short the memory cap on the motherboard for 10 seconds.
