start-up programs

Besides using msconfig, is there another way of removing programs that start with windows. And not using the start-up tab under the start menu.

Howdy:

depends on what the program is.. If it has an icon located in the systray, then check the preferences/options area of the program. Most have the option to allow you to disable it starting when Windows does.

no i have some adware programs starting on my computer and i want to be able to turn stop them from starting. I've already run an adware programs but i want to just make sure

It is freeware! It can delete anything, software, start-up programs, uninstall menu listings, etc, with a restore back-up safety feature. Way easier than regedit, and make safer!

You won't believe it is freeware, for the functionality!!!
