I'd like to start two occurances of powerpoint verses having both presentations in in seperate windows in on powerpoint occurance. Reason: have two monitors, need one presentation in running in each monitor.

Thanks

open both presentations and resize/move each window to the desired monitor. you may have to use the "Window" "Arrange" option to do this depending on the software you have for dual monitors.

Hmmm... It appears that when I open each of the two presentations, they both run within the single occurance of powerpoint. I cannot move each window outside of this occurance. How can I have two occurances of powerepoint running each with a seperate file open?

thanks

open another session of PP with the other presentation minimized and procedd as mentioned

Thanks for the replies... I really appreciate it.
However, I might be missing something here...

I can't seem to do your first step (open another session of PP...)

I can open another presentation, but both run in the same session (occurance) of PP.

the software we used where i used to work provided the interface to run concurrent programs/windows. i do not have it on this machine.

try the "New Window" option and see if your software works it out.

Thanks for the help. What I ended up doing was:
- Opened up both presentations.
- Simple "stretched" the powerpoint session to extend across both monitors.
- Using your (eyec) advice above, arranged the windows to fit on each monitor.

Thanks a bunch!
