Start Menu Redirection

I know its possible to redirect the users Start Menu using a group policy BUT...

is there any way to redirect the workstations "All users profile/startmenu" to a central place on the server, and get it to merge into the users redirected Startmenu.

(Basically somebodies messed up lots of MSI packages so its rather random whether the user/computer packages shortcuts go to All users or the users profile - so I need a way to indepentely control the shortcuts until I have time to repackge the MSIs correctly)
