start mailto in command prompt

Hello all,

I've question about the "start mailto:" command
in the command prompt...
Is there any way to send an attachment from the
command prompt line???
For example:
I open a command prompt box and type
"START MAILTO:SOMEONE@SOMEWHERE.COM"
and I want to attach a text-file (ex. TEST.TXT)to the mail.
How would I do this????

Anyone any idea?

when i do the same command it brings up a new OE message and from there i can attach a file. but i'm guessing there is a reason that you don't want to do it that way. "Jack of all trades. Master of none."

I know, but I want the file to be attached
automatically.
It's asking a lot but that's how it should be

There are free command line tools to help you do what you want - two I can think of are "blap" and "mailto". We use mailto for programatically sending messages (attachments too) - works well.
