I need some major help with programming aa on this star talk. I have managed to at least get the message to answer when a call come in but I have no idea on how to point it to each ext. There is only 4 people that is on this system. I install key systems every day, but this is a first for me.I am really struggling and need some help. I also can not get some old recording off, but I did set them so they would not answer, I would appreciate any help in setting this thing up. So when someone dials 1 it goes to ext 21 and so on PLEASE HELP

you need to modify the CCR tree that controls the single digit dialing.

when you log in to startalk (F983), there is an option under the button on the far right (admin, i think) upon pressing this selection you should see GLIST and CCR. Select CCR and tree 1 (probably tree 1) you'll need to change path 1 to go which extension you choose and so forth for each dialing option (2, 3, 4...)

hope this helps. keep posting.

What type of recording is the old one? If it's just a greeting (IE., thank you for calling...), then you need to check the greetings on the AA. Log in (F983), admin password. Press AA, then greeting. Check Greeting 1, tell it to play and you can listen to it. This is also where you would record a new greeting, if necessary. There may be other old greetings being used, so check greeting 2 and 3. This will give you a good start.

Also, have you ever programmed a CCR tree? Let me know, so I can help you on that as well.
