Stange issue SCN

I moved an IP OFFICE (IP 500) at the weekend - 3ft from one cab to another.

It was connected to 4 sites using SCN and all was working

now 3 out of the 4 work 1 doesnt ???

All cables have been re connected, you can ping in both directions usings System Status.

End B is showing SCN as being UP

END A is showing the SCN as Not ENABLED

the monitor application is showing the SCN as down and the tx and rx are showing as 0

Any Ideas ??????

Try rebooting both

Remove the iplines in both reboot and make them again and reboot

it seems to have been and issue with line group id

they were differnt at each end

eg

A END was 101
B END was 105

strange thing is it worked before the move

anyway all working now :)

I thought different IP LG id's on each switch was recommended for anti-tromboning...

Wash, rinse, repeat.
 
You are supposed to make them different so you can use other systems trunks and to ensure correct function of SCN!!
