Standard Edition and /3GB switch

Hey All,

I just need some clarification and piece of mind.

Does Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition support the use of the /3GB to allow an individual application to use more the 2G of virtual Memory?

It is possible, but Microsoft recommends only using it for applications that have been tested with that switch and that the vendor has pledged to support when using the switch. See MS KB article:
