Standard config inclusions.

Cisco Newbie chaps with a request. Can anybody tell me what you would include, as standard, in the configs of two routers (paired 800's & 1600's) on an internal network only. Internet connectivity is via static route to a BT configured 1600. Iam asking because i have them doing the job (both bridging and routing) across an emulated x21 link. The big but in the whole deal is that I keep seeing tons of other stuff in other configs and am wondering what iam leaving out! Basically this is my first real world configuration out of the lab and i dont want to mess
it up! All advice will be taken with sincere thanks!
