I know it's possible(I have the alarms log), but do not have an answer as to why, so if someone could enlighten me.
I lost the control network (A&B), on a carrier that has no trunking, copper or IP back to any other port-networks...but did not lose the voice, they could still make calls, intra-switch and external. This PN has no other connectivity to the outside world, no ESS, etc. It was isolated other than the 1 CLAN and 2 MEDPRO boards. All stations off of this PN are Digitial or Analog.
It was my understanding that if the control netowrk goes down, without any type of server connectivity, the carrier loses it's functionality.
What am I missing that allowed the carrier and voice to stay up?
