Hi Guy,

I am installing 6 x G700 ateways into a single stack using X330 stacking modules in each and the supplied cables.

Is there any specific configuration I need to do on each G700 so it knows it is part of a stack, or do I just configure each gateways (IP addresses, hostname, etc) and does it automatically recognise it has a stacking module?

Nigel

The G700 recognize they are part of the stack automatically, with one being the "stack master" ("master" LED is on)

You should assign an IP address to only the stack master G700, all MGPs and all voip modules. Make sure all G700 have the same f/w or you will see a lot of problems. Navigation between G700 is described in the G700 installation documentation.

Also you connect only one EXT port to the LAN (usually a port from the stack master G700.

Petran.
