I've been reading everything I can find here about system speed call lists in an attempt to understand how mine work. I have an SSC setup so that any of my users can lift the phone, dial * + the last 3 digits of any 7 digit extension and the phone makes the call. I have * entered in as a FFC under SSPU prompt. I then have an SSC (#250) built with 1000 entries in it built out for my 1000 DID extension range.
i.e. STOR 101 YYY-X101
When I build new phones, they all have SSU set to 250. How does the system know that *XXX routes to speed call list 250, and not any of the other various personal lists out there? I checked and there is not any pre-translation going on that I could see. I would appreciate any insight you can offer, thanks!
