SSL when log in and NON-SSL when log out in webpage

I need some help trying to figure out how to force SSL when logging into a certain page and when log out go to NON-SSL anyone can please give me an idea of how I can do this I did try using directMatch but even when log out the page is still in SSL I think I have to do something with the session thanks ahead for any help.

One way would be to call the ssl page with the full url. For example,

https://mydomain.com/secure.page.

Then call the exit page using http:// instead of

https://.
